THE ROOFTOP

I really enjoy photography. I always capture shots with my iPhone 6 since I do not own any digital or professional cameras. I usually take pictures when I am on a holiday trip or maybe just on hangouts with friends and family. I have not really had an organized feed or else since I take pictures randomly anywhere I go. To be honest, I do not consider myself as a professional or skillful photographer. To me, the point of photography is simply to capture anything that looks good to me.

Lately, I have not been going anywhere since I have been on my finals week so I have to stay at home and study. It has been quite a while since I take pictures, so I try to find spots in my house where I can possibly take some pictures and the best spot in my house is my new "base camp", the rooftop.

It has been months that we have been doing some renovations for our house and our rooftop is not done yet. It is still unfinished and messy, but the good thing I find about the rooftop is that it is directly exposed to sunlight which enhances my photography. I start to think of what to capture, then I find out that there is an unused wooden board and a glass shelter on the corner of the rooftop. The afternoon sunshine is just perfect, so I quickly take my iPhone and experiment. Here are some shots that I captured:

The wooden board which is exposed to sunlight makes
the colors compliment with each other. The sky is also
perfect with its vibrant color and some light clouds.

Then I moved closer to take a
close-up shot from above.

It is quite fun to play and
experiment with natural light.
