A QUICK LUNCH BREAK AT GENKI SUSHI

It was Sunday afternoon when I was just hanging at the mall with my siblings. We arrived at Mal Kelapa Gading at around 2 pm and I was going to have a group work with my friends at 3 pm. We had not had lunch and I could not spend too much time for lunch. As we walk alongside the Ground Floor, we walked past one of our favorite restaurants which is Genki Sushi. We thought it would be best to have a meal there. Not just because they serve their meals quickly, yet we also love their meals.

One of the main attractions of Genki Sushi is that they serve their meals with small Shinkansen-like trays that move back and forth from the kitchen to the customers through a systematic and automated rails. Beside having an interesting way of serving their meals, they also offer a wide-ranged selection of Japanese foods. From belly-satisfying sushi and nigiri to mouth-watering rice meals, grilled dishes and delightful desserts.

All the customers are given an iPad for them to place orders. To order their meals, we simply just need to select the items and place our order. In a short amount of time, the meals will arrive nicely in our table.

So what did we order?
First thing first, we ordered three glasses of Cold Ocha (it is refillable!). I personally think that their Ocha tastes really good since it uses natural matcha powder which gives an authentic taste of a japanese green tea. Then we order quite a lot of sushi. Some of our favorites are:

- Salmon with Garlic Cheese
- Seared Salon with Spicy Mayo
- Seared Egg with Pollock Rice
- Fried Tofu Skin
- Egg Sashimi

My personal favorite, Salmon

After having some sushi and light bites, we proceeded to the Main Course. My brother ordered their Chicken Katsu and Egg Donburi and he loved it. While me and my sister, we ordered grilled fishes. My sister order their Grilled Mackarel, while I ordered my most essential meal in their restaurant which is their Grilled Salmon. I personally think that in a short amount of time, they always manage to serve a nicely seared and freshly grilled fishes.
