LARB THAI TEA - FLAVORFUL THAI TEA SENSATION

I recently went to the mall with my sister and as we were walking on the ground floor, we came over this newly opened tenant near the supermarket. We could see that some people were in line for their drinks so we got in line too. Larb Thai Tea is a mini branch of Larb Thai Cuisine which had previously opened in Kapuk Muara. While Larb Thai Cuisine serves a wide range of Thai culinary sensation, Larb Thai Tea serves their famous 2 in 1 cup which is renowned as the first to open in Indonesia.

I was interested that they give customers a chance to pick two different flavors of Thai Tea which then will be poured into a segmented cup. I found this concept very unique and innovative because who does not want to try two flavors at once? They truly give customers a free and enjoyable experience. When I was still in the line, I firstly browsed the menu. They offer 11 different variants of their Thai Tea:

Among all of those, their signature variant that is not owned by other tenants is the Butterfly Pea Tea. It is a caffeine-free herbal tea, made from the infusion of Clitoria ternatea plant which grows in Thailand and dried lemongrass. It is famous for some health benefits, so I was tempted to try it since I have never even heard about it.

I got the mini 2-in-1 cup (27) instead of the regular 2-in-1 (32) because I was not too thirsty at that moment and I picked their Original Thai Tea and Butterfly Pea Lemon. On the other hand, my sister picked Thai Green Tea and Butterfly Pea Milk Tea.

I love their Original Thai Tea because the taste

was just fine. Mild and not too sweet.

If you choose the one with lemon, the colour

of the drink will turn to purple.

Overall, I really liked my first taste on Larb Thai Tea. I think that they serve their Thai Tea nicely without adding too much strong flavors. The Butterfly Pea Tea was refreshing and it was somewhere between sweet and sour which I think is just great. In conclusion, I think this new sensation is definitely worth the price to try.
