FEDWELL - SENOPATI
Hello! It has been a while since I last wrote on my blog. Been busy with school activities and exam preparations. I think this is one of the fastest to be written post the visit because I have been really excited to publish about this restaurant on my blog!
A while ago, Zomato hosted a giveaway on Instagram with the invitation to the Grand Opening of Fedwell Jakarta as the gift for the winners. I was really blessed to be one of the winners because it was my first-ever food tasting event and I was looking forward to attend one for the last few months. So before I proceed with the review, I would like to thank Zomato and Fedwell for the incredible opportunity for me to participate in the lovely Grand Opening event.
You might have heard about Fedwell since it has been opening its door for a few months. Fedwell is a restaurant established under the Leafwell Group which also established the Leafwell Catering, Berrywell and Colab Space. The new restaurant is located in Senopati, a crowded area that is home to dozens of restaurants and hangout places. The restaurant upholds a healthy-eating concept and it has been one of the favorites for people all around Jakarta since the people in majority have been managing to have healthy eating as their habit. [#HealthyLivingStartsNow]
I arrived at the restaurant a bit early before the event so I got a chance to do a tour exploring the exterior and the interior of the restaurant!
Fresh and beautiful flowers congratulating their Grand Opening had been standing down to the parking space. No doubt since this establishment has been quite a nice and serious player in the society; an amiable one to be exact.
For their lovely Grand Opening event, they had Here's To_ as their event stylist and planner, RINKU (the famous social media agency) and Kisah Studio which did some designs on the details. The interior of the restaurant is really aesthetically-pleasing and instagrammable (just what the people like these days); with Apricot color dominating their walls and mostly of pink shades as the base of the decor. For the furnishing, they wisely combined marble, wood and rattan, also with a bit touch of industrial concrete on some parts of the dining area. This place is definitely a go-to spot for your OOTDs!
Entering the restaurant, you will be greeted by a table with the
order forms to be filled upon your order.
Even to their smallest details, like this nice little succulent
with the concrete pot with a dash of gold color.
They also have a lot of greens all around the place;
soothing and friendly to the eyes and soul.
Even they have got AÄ“sop hand wash inside the bathroom,
along with the soothing candle! Was pretty impressed.
They had pineapples placed on the tables to complement
their tropical minimalist design!
Now this popular and pretty much the most anticipated spot for those who love to take pictures of their OOTDs and just a mandatory spot to capture a pose when visiting Fedwell: their iconic wall with a neon sign of their flamingo mascot with the writing: ZERO FLOCKS GIVEN!
Exclusively for the event: together with Kisah Studio, they made postcards which were made from RECYCLED PAPER! As a restaurant with healthy living as the principle of its concept, Fedwell committed to recycle their paper-based wastes and turned them into motivational postcards with the beautiful design which I am a fan of!
They wrote the names of the guests of the event on leaves
and I really love that they placed MONSTERA LEAVES (a.k.a the mother of
aesthetically-pleasing plants and my favorite as well)
Alright! Enough on the interior and the decor details, now down to their dishes! Fedwell allows their customers to make their DIY Bowl (where you can pick what to eat from the Base, Protein, Toppings, Crunch and Sauce). Yet if you are in doubt, go for their SIGNATURE BOWLS (which were all introduced by them in the opening event). They have Chef Renatta Moeloek as the mastermind behind the ideas and compositions of each of the Signature Bowls selection. There are 8 options that you can go with and they are all really healthy, nutritious and tasty; balanced! [#BowlsofGoodness]

THEIR SELECTIONS:
I do think that they have a decent range of selections that are friendly for any type of eater; whether you are someone who likes meats, vegetarian or even vegan! All the selections are carefully selected and cooked through a healthy process with high quality: producing tasty and nutritious balance.
Looks appetizing, right? Wait until you see their protein selections
which are highly demanded by almost everyone!
My favorite base: UBE MIXED!
Nicely cooked with just the nice texture.
Behold, their sous-vide RIB EYE STEAK; they told
me that it was prepared for approximately 8 hours then high-roasted
to the delectable texture and umami flavor.
Do not skip their crunch! They do have super seeds like chia seeds, puffed
quinoa, homemade furikake and my favorite: Savoury Granola
(which was from their sister, Berrywell, I suppose)
For their Grand Opening, they focused on introducing their SIGNATURE BOWLS. I did not get to try every one of them nor take all the pictures from the whole range of selections, yet here are some that I got to taste:
The Muscle Hustle | 95k
After only scanning the menu for less than a minute, I went with The Muscle Hustle right away. This bowl is just quintessentially crafted. It consists of Ube Mixed as the base, Rib Eye Steak, Herb Chicken, Horenzo, Broccoli Snap, Honey Mustard sauce and Savory Granola. It tasted really great and the moment I am writing this post, I am already drooling to have another. It is the perfect choice for extra proteins! I think their Rib Eye Steak was pretty spot-on (despite it was pretty hard to cut it because they did not provide any knives), anyways the fresh and tangy Honey Mustard sauce perfectly wraps the whole dish along with the Savory Granola: PERFECT MATCH!
The Don | 95k
Quinoa Brown Rice, Rib Eye Steak, Edamame, Horenzo, Charred Corn, Onsen Egg, Peanut Sesame Sauce, Furikake
This is their best-selling menu. Even though I did not go with it as my choice,
yet I could picture how it would taste like and the combination is again, quintessential!
A lot of the people and fellow bloggers who attended the event
went for it to choose.
The Trophy Wife | 85k
Leafy Greens, Salmon Gravlax, Roasted Pumpkin, Roasted Tomato, Kale Slaw, Mushroom Party, Lemon Sauce, Super Seeds
The 1945 | 75k
Quinoa Brown Rice, Pan Seared Dory, Masala Glazed Carrot, Charred Beans, Charred Corn, Onsen Egg, Matah Relish, Bawang Goreng
This one is also one of the best-selling menu;
with the twist of Indonesian taste!
The Browser | 75k
Tabbouleh, Soy Party, Roasted Pumpkin, Ratatouille, Kale Slaw, Charred Beans, Asian Chimichurri, Puffed Quinoa
This one is their VEGAN option!
DRINKS:
Despite being totally healthy and nutritious on the food, they also provide a fun selection of drinks for their customers. Their best-sellers are their coffee and soy latte (non-caffeine)! They do have healthy drinks as well; like jugs of freshly-made infused water and some cold pressed juice if you do not feel like having a full healthy meal.
Charcoal Soy Latte | 35k
I am not a coffee person, therefore I went with their Soy Latte option which is non-caffeine. Opted for the Charcoal Soy Latte which has a benefit for detoxification! They also have other options: beetroot, turmeric and matcha. They also have artisanal tea selections from TWG!
Not just to be able to taste their amazing healthy foods, I also got to meet a lot of people and public figures. I have been following a lot of bloggers and social media influencers for the past years and I got to finally meet some of them at the event!
With Dio Santoso (owner of Fedwell). He was
really friendly and welcoming.
With Andrew Yaputra; someone whom I have been
following on Instagram for the past two years. I admire his photography,
especially his works with RINKU team. A nice example of
a humble public figure with a good personality.

They also hosted a mini game for the event; which is to create a DIY Bowl. I volunteered as one of the contestants out of three contestants. Did a bowl with a little plating (inspired by what I have seen in pictures and references so far) and I won the Second Place! It was really fun, though.
I think that this kind of restaurant will be a lasting survivor in the industry. Once again, congratulations Fedwell for the Grand Opening! I am looking forward for this establishment to expand wider to all across the city and even outside Jakarta. All the best!
