A QUICK SOUTHERN LUNCH AT KITCHENETTE - KELAPA GADING

I must tell you that I think I have a found another nice place for comfort and delicious food: KITCHENETTE! Last week I got to try Kitchenette for the first time since I am still considered new to the area. Scanned their menu and my eyes were instantly caught by their “Southern Boneless Fried Chicken” (125K) | I opted to pair the chicken with some nice waffles! I know it may not be the regular proportional combo.

You might think that it is quite cataclysmic, yet that is WRONG. It was heavenly delicious! I was pretty surprised and impressed by how they serve the meal in such a generous portion. I was hungry at that time yet it could truly fulfill for one (even for two)!

The Southern Boneless Fried Chicken was glorious: tender and juicy; crispiness was at the right state without being overly dry. Plus, hands up for the slight hint of spicy which I really liked. And what was spot-on and truly complementary was their Chilli Butter: GOODNESS!

CHILLI BUTTER: STAPLE!

How to best enjoy this dish:

1. Move the waffle to given separate plate.

2. Cut the waffle and stab the fork to it.

3. With the waffle on the knife, slice the chicken.

4. Glaze it with their decent maple syrup.

5. Spread some Chilli Butter.

6. Devour it at once for the best sensational explosion of amazing taste in your mouth.

7. Repeat throughout finishing meal. Enjoy!
