EAT LIKE A BOSS - EATBOSS, KELAPA GADING
My friend invited me to her birthday lunch this afternoon. She had told me before that she is hosting the event at EatBoss, a newly opened restaurant in Kelapa Gading which used to be Oddity's which "collapsed" some time ago. I have known about this restaurant since they had opened quite a number of branches in different cities before and I have seen pictures on social media. As my "pre-visit ritual" that I do everytime I am going to a new restaurant, I browsed it on Zomato to see reviews, menus and also the interior of the restaurant (spots that I find perfect for photographs).
My friend organized the lunch to start at 12 p.m. and so it was on-time. I arrived at the restaurant at about 5 minutes after noon and she had reserved tables on the 2nd floor. Not long after that, we all had gathered and we started browsing the menu booklet and ordering some foods and drinks.
THE MENU
EatBoss offers quite a range of options for both foods and drinks. Their specialties and favorite menus are pasta, pizza, chicken wings and ayam geprek which most of Indonesian customers enjoy. I went back and forth the menu a couple of times and I found some unique dishes like "Bala-Bala Raksasa" which is an Indonesian street food which basically is a mixture of flour and some vegetables which are fried and served in such a humongous size.
What did I order?
I ordered Ayam Geprek Mozarella (which is one of the most recommended in the menu) and I paired it up with Mint Mojito (as the birthday girl recommended). I pretty much like the Ayam Geprek, but the Mint Mojito was more above and beyond since it was really refreshing during a sunny afternoon.
INTERIOR
The restaurant overall combines industrial materials in their furnishings, including wooden tables and chairs, unfinished or raw cement stairs and walls and some patterns on their kitchen flooring. The front face of the 3-store building is fully covered with windows which let natural light to come in. The first floor would be the perfect spot for taking photographs since it is more exposed to natural light. They also use yellow lights to create a cozy and warm ambiance, but this may not be good for taking photographs of meals on the table.
PRICE
I have to say that EatBoss offers a great deal when it comes to dining. The price of their foods and drinks spans from around 10 to 50 thousand Rupiahs which are affordable. One surprising fact that I discovered is that they even serve a normal portion of pasta at only 15 thousand Rupiahs. You might want to consider hosting events and dine-ins at this newly opened restaurant.

This cube-shaped bread was pretty much the center of attention
due to its appetizing look and the way it was served.

It has various toppings including chocolate sauce,
chunks of peanut and an ice cream on top.
They also serve this bowl of ramen at a fair portion
(I think it is pretty big) with various toppings in it.
This was one of the first dishes that came first.
A plate of spaghetti with bolognaise sauce has been a
classic and favorite meal in restaurants.
Great value for its inexpensive price, they give
a fine portion of spaghetti with a tasty sauce and also
a piece of garlic bread.
We all really enjoyed having time together. Conversing with each other, laughing on many stuffs, trying a lot of dishes for sharing, posting Instagram and Snapchat stories and taking photographs around the venue. Thanks to my friend Anne (@maria.oktavianne), I got a chance to visit this nice restaurant which I recommend for all of you to visit with your friends and families.
